"My friend in India painted a big festival with colours I’ve never seen before. He said it’s called Holi, where they throw coloured powder and dance. We don’t have that here in Malawi"

“Every year, we help our families harvest olives. It’s more than picking fruit — it’s music, food, stories, and being together. For our art project, we painted the olive trees and the festival and the Palestine Flag

“We were painting at the same time as children in another country. I didn’t know what their lives were like before, but through their pictures, I could see their world"
